HKS actuator install????

Ok so I finally got my Wastegate Actuator and can make out only a Tad in japanese saying = 125mm = 11.4lbs boost (.8 bar).
Thats what I'm planning to run for my Relativley Stock SR T25 w/ no FMIC yet (on the way).

The arm can only be So short is what I'm finding out.The Flapper Post can only come back just a little bit??How do you make it shorter??
Heres a pic.
Had it setup for 11.4 lbs (bascially/guess) and when I attached it all back had to unscrew the arm Quite a bit just to get the Arm to grab on the Turbo.

Just layed a ruler up to it to show you also:

am I doing something wrong.
Flap all the way toward the front of the car means the wastegate is Closed?? or open all the way.W/ the rod Shorter than Stock means more boost but the gate can only Close sooo much.I'm lost.

I have done these a bunch of times. The only real way to set boost on these is by driving the car and then adjusting to fine tune boost setting.

Start by turning the wastegate adjustment so that it keeps the flapper closed with slight tension. This will be the lowest boost setting. If you want more boost turn the adjustment so there is more tension holding the flapper seated.

BTW try to keep boost at 10 lbs on a stock I/C, any more and your pushing it. Also, get a nismo FPR and a fuel pressure gauge and bump the F/P up 5psi.

I've got the arm as short as it will allow for that flapper to be closed.
It can't go any shorter...and honestly its I'm guessin the same length as the STock one was.

I checked it right before I installed it w/ the stock one and it was substantially shorter(measured amount to make 11lbs)...but when I put it on there was about 1/2"-1" short to even attach to the "Post" on the wastegate.I had to then unscrew it Alot just to get it on there.

I know it sounds dumb but cross reference the P/N and make sure you got the right one.
