somewhere, maybe on 240sxforums.com, there was an entire write up about what wires you need and what ones you didnt.
Some dude rewired his car with the stock wires, and ended up losing 40lbs of wieght from his car.

But also stated its a pain in the rear and was more just the challenge to see if he could do it, iirc.

That writeup would not be useful to everyone because each person wants different options on the car. If you don't mind copying his setup then it's ok as a guide.

That would be I. I tried to keep all the exterior lights, the gauges, and the defrost for inspection. Everything else was removed.

I agree. It's doable, but I do not recommend it to the average person. Only do it if you have the patience, perseverance, and electronic wherewithal to do a custom harness.
