a wider tire with the same aspect ratio will not necessarily have any greater grip in a corner.. maybe straight line.. but not in a corner. remember, tires roll while cornering


I have been running the kumho 712's for quite some time now. A great daily driver tire. They perform very well for the price, and have awesome wet traction. They don't get to their full traction potential till about 800-1000 miles.

Es100 is a good tire as well. I hear they last a long time, but are slightly less grippy than the kumho's

What are you gonna do with the car.

you have three basic options with tires:
cheap, longlasting, grippy.. pick two.
