I wasn't worried that argentina kept it close despite manu being out, I knew we could bump it back up in the 2nd half. I was more upset that there was no killer instinct to put that team away.

It was also probably because wade and bron were in foul trouble

The olympic basketball gold medal game (USA vs ESP) was definatey way closer then i would of thought.

At one point spain cut down to 2pts in the 4th with 2:30 to go making it 89-91. Who ever had a early bedtime missed a fuckin awesome game, on the edge of me seat every moment.

and... now I'm pretty sure Spain was playing possum to an extent during the time these two teams met. I like how FIBA referees call (or rather not call) perimeter fouls and silly blocking/charging fouls (at least, in this olympics). And to be honest I really enjoy watching zone defense and how teams attack zone defense, I wouldn't mind seeing more crisp passing and ball movement rather than staunch isos in the NBA.
