I agree, sorry haters, but these movies have been my biggest money makers and sold moore vinyl graphics for me then anything else. At least Tokyo Drift brought a certain new awareness to "main stream America".

Yes that STi is the one we made.

Basically we made the kit at the drop of a hat's notice.
We never planned to make a kit for the car (President doesn't really like it) but we decided to do it for Universal since we have done cars for every other FF movie.

We made this thing in 2 weeks. Normally it takes at LEAST a month to make a kit for a car over in Japan, but we had a strict time table from Universal.
The STi kit is the first thing that we made over at VeilSide USA. President Yokomaku spent a few weeks over here and LONG hours were put into that car.
A few times I was there for 12 hour days... and I left "early" while the others stayed until the early morning.

You can thank ME for the roof scoop. lol. It isn't even functional. (again, no time to do the extra things like make it totally functional.) I helped President Yokomaku design it. I have a picture of it on my s14 somewhere as a joke.

To end this little story, we made a front bumper, side skirts, rear half bumper/valence, rear wing, hood, and roof scoop for the new STi. Chances are, these will never go into production for us. The originals were badly messed up by the shop that made the molds for the movie. These are NOT up to our standards, so we won't use them. It would be a different story if we could have made the molds back in Japan.

Also, for some of the scenes, they couldn't use our front bumper because it was too low for the dirt racing. Speaking of which, I just remembered that I told Pres. to make it low. WOOPS.
