KA Tranny compatibility

Can you mix a 92' S13 manual tranny with a 96' s14 engine and chassis? I need to know cause I'm looking to do the tranny swap and it's alot easier to find an s13 tranny than an s14 one.
Also can you use the manual driveaxle, and wiring from the s13 to work on the s14 chassis?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if the tranny is from a twin cam s-13 then yes i believe it wll bolt up. the driveshaft im not sure you may have to have one customized at a drive shaft shop.

All 240sx transmissions are interchangable. M/Ts need M/T driveshafts, and vice-versa with A/T. transmission driveshaft collars differ between S13 and S14, but are interchangable. If using an S14 trans on S13, be sure to remove CAS.

I would actually be using a s13 tranny on a s14 chassis. What is a CAS?
As far as the tranny collar, would I need a new one on my s14 since I'm using an s13 tranny? And honestly what is the collar anyway? Never heard of it.
