Does anyone have any wet/rain experience with the RS-R's and the new Evo tire?

![]() The RS-R was designed more for a street/track summer tire. The Evo was designed to be a better improving street tires based on the 595 original model. So if you need better wet traction for regular driving go with the 595 Evo. |

Man...I'm still undecided if I want to run Fedys up front as well, as I really like the brake ability of my RS-2's up front....darn it!

So performance between the EVO and 595 are about the same in the dry?
Because I have 595s in 235/40/17 up front right now, and am looking for some 235/40/18 for the rear, and it's either the 595s or the EVOs when they come out... |

Most have been saying that the Evo is slightly better in dry. The best part with the 18" Evos is that when they chunk, they do in little pieces as opposed to the SS where they tend to peel off. (from a drifting standpoint)

Not too many Tire Manufacturers make a 225/40R17. You can go with either 225/45R17, or if that is too tall, probably a 235/40R17. Keep in mind Federals run a tad wide compared to most tire companies, so you might want to also consider 215/40R17.
