Susp. Differences: S13 vs. S14

Yes, I searched. Here's my q: What is the difference between S13 Shocks and S14 shocks and why won't S13 shocks fit on an S14? PLEASE don't flame me. I could have sworn that this topic was covered on 240sx.org but i couldn't find it. Anyways, thanks in advance 4 your help. If you have a link, just post that, thanks.

also understand that there are weight differences between the models. swapping front struts might work, but i would recommend against it.

the rear shock is taller on an S14 and has a different mount on the bottom for the hub. it goes on a sleeve and and a bolt goes through it, while on an S13, the shock mounts on a threaded bolt thats in the hub already and a nut goes on it.
