SR20det wiring?

Hello im new here, i did a search, didnt really find any detail, i have an 89 coupe im doing the SRswap to, now what i need is some wiring info on the SR20det to the 89 coupe.

i seen that heavy throttle, it was kinda confusing, a skematic would be better, but ill take what i can get. Do you know of anywhere else to get the wiring?

i tried downloading the wiring info on this site, but couldnt open it, why is that?

also is there any JDMsilvia or even euro SILVIA repair manual that shows the wiring diagrams, i can figure it out from there, i know theres 240SX digrams, but i still need the SILVIA, also need it for Check engine codes too.

thank you any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thank you
Xavier

Go to the main zilvia.net page, technical section, all your wiring diagrams are there. They are .zip archives of .pdf so you need a .zip extractor and a .pdf viewer to view them.

None of the wiring diagrams are for S13 SR's because there were no S13 SR's exported to english speaking countries, excluding the grey market.

If you can't understand the srswap faq, try reading the SCC article on sportcompactcarweb.com. The wiring is really pretty simple, just change it so the colors match on the engine harness and fuse box plugs, the same with a few interior wires, and lengthen anything that doesnt reach.

got it

didnt england get the 180sx, bluebird? i could have sworn they did. there SR20powerd.

so the actual engine harness that goes from the ECU to the engine i dont have to cut (besides lengthen)?

then the other wires under the dash are for the dash cluster?

and the wires on the fuse box is there for power pretty much?

ive done many DSM and Honda swaps, but those are really simple.

have you done the swap Duffman?

well tomorrow ill stark working on the SR20det clip, getting a better look at the wiring.

thanks
Xavier

The S13's (200sx's) in Britain are all CA powered unless they were imported individually. The S14 is SR powered.

The swap really isnt that difficult; aside from the wiring and having to re-route heater hoses, its pretty much a straight drop.

The wiring isn't that difficult to figure out--you're basically just matching up the colors.

Just take your time, do it right, don't rush it, and you'll be fine.

Good luck
