Adjustable FPR

I remembered that B&M make an add on kit for honda fuel pressure regulators to make is an adjustable FPR. its called the B&M command flow, I actually have one laying around here somewhere... I think i am going to try to retrofit it to a nissan FPR and see if it can be a cheaper alternative to the Nismo adjustable FPR. Hopefully it works out and we have another option available to us. If anyone has done this please chime in!

dont get a nismo fpr. they are finicky. Some work good, some do not.
go Sard or other better ones. I changed from a nismo to sard as I had inconsistent fuel pressure on occasion and that is very dangerous!

Has anyone tried the one advertised by www.Poweredbymax.net Seems pretty inexpensive and I would trust their stuff over some of the "cheaper alternatives".

Go with SARD FPR, from what i've seen and read i'd stay away from NISMO FPR; like JohnC stated they are finicky. If you have a S14 motor, then you'll need a GReddy, SARD, or NISMO adapter. Please refer to link below: (NISMO)

Nismo FPR Fitting for SR20DET

I'd go with SARD FPR with NISMO Adapter (for S14), the SARD FPR allows you to install a pressure guage on unit it self 1/8 NPT fitting.

aeromotive makes a fpr kit for our cars and those work good. Enjuku racing also sells a adapter kit to make it a bolt on affair.

I didnt say i was going to get a nismo fpr or was looking for alternatives that are already on the market. well, i guess i will try it and post results

the ONLY FPR you should ever need to run

AEROMOTIVE 13109 FPR
Aeromotive 13109 - Aeromotive A1000-6 Injected Bypass Regulator - JEGS

and JEGS liquid filled PSI gauge
JEGS 41043 - JEGS Fuel Pressure Gauges - JEGS

ive seen these FPRs used in cars with 800+ whp dyno proven...its what i run in my personal car...ZERO problems

but seriously...do not waste money on a NISMO FPR guys...theyre peices of shit

I wouldnt spend the $130 they charge for a nismo fpr in the first place, thats why i am looking at this alternative... should only cost about $30 and work better then the nismo one. Thanks for the support!

yeah, there is a nismo fpr that goes directly onto the rail and one that you use a fitting to remote mount, if you are going to remote mount i would suggest something other than the nismo fpr, but this thread is about an alternative to the direct mount nismo fpr that is cheaper and direct mount and adjustable.

i know your thread is for an alternative solution. i already have the one that goes directly into the rail and its fine so far.. i just asked that because maybe some people used the one thats not direct fit and have had bad results. but guess it doesn't matter, carry on!!
