for the people in alot of debt. i was in debt 15k with just credit cards, i ended up going through credit counseling where they talk to all your credit cards and get them to lower the interest rate by alot(one of my cards was 24% and they got it to 7%) and they will set you up with one payment a month. it worked great for me. i will be all paid off in about 5 month and my credit score was over 750 when i bought my new car so i doubt it hurts your credit. if you would like more info about this PM me. it helped me a bunch.
BTW i am in no way connected to this company, they just helped me alot. |

Consolidation is one way however it can screw you up if your not careful. Good to hear your'll be debt free in a few months but for how long? It sure is tempting to buy stuff when you have a good credit score.

Graduated college completely debt free in 01 w/ a 95 S14 that was all paid off.
Fast forward to today...I'm getting ready to turn 29 and I'm in the hole on a mortgage $90k, and about $20k in loans/credit cards, but my LS1 swapped S14 and 99 Q45 are both paid off. WTF? I have a Finance degree too...haha. Guess I need to learn how to live within my means or get some roommates.

wow.. the number of you guys with thousands of $$ debt is staggering
i stick to my debit card so i only spend whats in my bank account but i can see how that gets difficult when you have a home mortgage to pay for.. idk what i'll do by the time i need to purchase a house if i wanna stay out of debt.. i dont think its possible in this country.. unless your from the ballin upper class i guess

bout $20k on my truck
around $4k in credit cards Track car is 100% mine. I can't see how people can put car parts on credit. Then again, i do have bills for shit I shouldn't have gotten. I guess its cuz when i buy car parts i know it will probably break on the track and i will hate paying for it later. I dont live by the stupid saying "you only live once" when it comes to money, but I do like the choices i've made and wouldn't go back on any of them. I feel that getting some debt and staying on top of it helps you grow a little bit. I fucking hate friends that go to school and can't manage their money cuz they get everything handed to them. Like even in this thread some of you say you owe your parents money. Like damn, i wish i could owe my parents money, but they never had it in the first place lol. This thread makes me want to pay off my credit cards tho lol.
