First try at video editing

Ok let me break it down for you:

-Music sucks (has already been said)
-Text in title is weak. The motion is a start but nothing new.
-Filming yourself passing people in the freeway is boring. We all do this every day. It's not shot at a cool angle.
-Sequences are too long. There's 20 something seconds of you guys getting on the freeway. Boring.
-Again more lame camera work after that.
-More lame speeding on the streets.
-Donuts by the STi are lame. Kinda cool spot to do it, but the driving sucks.
-Then back to more lame street racing. You're next to someone and then you blow by them and show them behind you. You already did that shot. And 10,000 other people have done it before you.
-A min of nothing but a burnout that anyone on here can do.
-Closing credits are standard.

There you have it. everything that makes that vid lame. Again, back in 2001 this would have been an entertaining vid because we all wouldn't have seen the same kinda vid 10,000 times before.

That link I posted earlier (YouTube - Ken Block Gymkhana Practice) THAT is fuckin killer.

Happy? Now back to the drawing board you go.

Thanks the ken block video i actually told my friend about it and he posted it here. It's my first try at this stuff and thats all the video i had what video would be good to make something out of i know we all like drifting. But the events are limited. Im thinking i live in the mountains so ive got a lot of nice curvy roads and some friends with nice cars i might video that this weekend and play around with that. Im normally not a internet shopper but this is something that is made for you guys the viewers. What would you honestly like to see. Tell me and ill get it on video.
