btw, just incase you didnt realize this: i am always right when it comes to my line of work. you dont hear me spouting off on turbos and motor building, because i am not an engine builder. you want badassed lights? no problem. but the point i am trying to make is, that never once did i ever promote my work here. if you want to buy what i sell, cool - if you dont, then dont. but at the VERY MINIMUM, I am urging people to stay away from cheap shit:
- if you have an opportunity to buy cheap chinese altekka tail lights vs 96-98 180sx tail lights, OEM wins.
- if you have an opportunity to buy cheap knockoff seats vs used GTR seats, OEM wins.

the problem is, you douchebags have no idea that used OEM stuff has greater value than shitty knockoff aftermarket stuff. at least with OEM, there is something called R&D and a proper manufacturing process. much better than buying toothpaste with coolant in it, or slippers that chemical burn your fucking feet. if folks cant get toothpaste and slippers right, then why the fuck are they building seats and tail lights.

You really need to shut the fuck up and gtfo of whatever kind of drugs you're into to make you think you're the almighty lighting god. Not everyone can afford OEM Kouki tails. Some of us daily drive our cars, and with the price of Kouki tails, we can't afford to replace them if they break. Some of us drift or just generally fuck off in our cars that would put the tails in danger.

The point is, OEM JDM tails aren't in all of our budgets. For others, we just don't like the Kouki tails. I personally don't. Mind you, I don't like s13 fastback tails in general.

That's not the point I'm trying to make.

Yes, I'm cheap to a degree. Will I spend money to mod a car? Yes. Will I spend thousands of dollars on VIP aero and paint only to rip it off (not if, but when)? No. Will I lower it and get factory aero? Sure. It looks better than stock, and isn't going to break the bank.

The point is that people want to make their cars different. We can go 1337 style and spend an assload of money, and have it come out ridiculously nice, or spend a little change and come up with something that was better than before. Making only about $25,000 a year, I can't afford VIP. In fact, I can barely afford to keep my poor S14 running at times.
