After reading on the Greddy 350Z/G35 twin turbo kit prototype, I started to wonder what's going on with the KA24 turbo kit prototype. I remember reading last year that someone in Cali is driving around with the prototype. But since then I haven't heard any updates or info on this kit.

Does anyone have any updates, info or opinions on this kit?

this kit will NEVER come out
i had heard about it over 2 years ago when i first got into 240sx

there have been pics of the car installed but never any more then that.

im sure if it does (IF) it will be this year/early next with the rising popularity in the 240sx.

I remember hearing something about the project car Greddy had (as featured in some ads and in a SCC writeup) going to a highschool in San Diego, minus the kit.

No that was the HKS prototype KAT car. It was sold to a HS auto shop in San Deigo minus turbo. They noted that the valve cover still said HKS when they got it, and mentioned that it was sluggish off the line, probably due to the 8.5 to 1 pistons HKS installed.

I didn't know HKS had a KA prototype turbo kit. I'm guessing they gave up on that project and its probably the same for Greddy.

This was years ago at least 2 maybe 3. I use to have the SCC issue with that article in it.

yeah I got that one too... a red 98 I believe. about the time SCC had the three article project 240 (the original one was a 98 they put a xs engineering kit on)

Probably my old auto shop at Kearny H.S. in San Diego (kearny mesa).

they say greddy kit is suppose to come out late summer '03... haha which most of you highly doubt it is..
