I have an SR20 DET in my 89 240sx. The car was running just fine up until today. I had to take the car through emissions and i couldnt make it idle below the 1000 maximum for the test. So I moved the CAS to try to adjust for this problem

That was my first mistake. When I did that the car just ran like crap. Misfiring and quiting when the idle would drop. So I made it home and tried to get it back to where it was. That didnt happen so i pulled out the CAS to look at it and that was my biggest mistake. Now it wont start at all!!! What do I do? I know a little about cars but I have never worked on this engine before. There has to be a procedure to reinstall the CAS. I dont know where to line up the crank pulley or which marks to use when I do. I heard something about unplugging the TPS when you do it but I have tried everything. Please HELP!!!!!!

Uh..you pulled the CAS and just stuck it back in without following installation procedures?

Try heavythrottle-they have the CAS installation writeup. Iirc you pop off the rocker cover, crank the crank pulley until you can get the orange dot on the gear to line up with the dot on the CAS when you install it.
