if your gonna use a fmu you dont need the SR injectors. To be honest it will be a lot easier to source parts if you use a T25 off a SR then you can use the ebay manifold which is super cheap and is proven to work on many ka-t's you can use SR downpipes as well. The ebay SR fmic kits work well to.

If you ditched the fmu, bought some SR injectors, and get a tuned ecu like a EFI specialist which is like 300 bucks your setup will prob be much more reliable and have more power.

pretty sure you just gotta mod the cold pipe a lil bit. My friend uses a SR fmic kit on his ka-t and the provided piping works fine.

FYI the T25 will not give you big power. It wont even hold full boost to red line on a KA. Try to find a T28 at the least cause you will be much happier. My friend ran a T25 for like a month and was severely disapointed so he upgraded to a gt28, that was not enough so he is rockin a gt30 now.

Look into a tuned ecu. This is cheaper than a enthalpy and jim wolf and people have said good things about his tunes and customer support. I dont vouch for him but other people on ka-t.org and nico were pleased with his tunes.

The only difference should be in the piping (if it's a kit).

But please do everyone a favor and do some, no wait, do A LOT of research. Then, ask yourself if you want to get it right the first time or spend tons of extra money fixing mistakes you made because you were in a hurry to get boosted?

Here is my opinion of a solid (mild) setup:

JGS manifold
T3/T4 turbo
555cc injectors
Z32 mafs
Tuned ECU (Calum RT or a used Enthalpy)
Walbro fuel pump
FMIC and piping
BOV (your choice)
WG (your choice)
Custom downpipe or JGS kit if they still make it
Wideband O2 sensor
JGS oil feed/return kit

Things not needed to get started:
Boost controller
Turbo Timer

I'm sure I forgot some things, but since you're about to do a ton of research, you'll find it.

Def. a good suggestion ^

But from what it sounds like he is trying not to spend a grip of money. You can have a reliable setup for under 2,000 but it wont make near the power of your list. Sure he will prob upgrade later on, but in the meantime it will help him learn more about ka-t's and stuff which is not a bad thing.
