ref usually will db test your car as for the intake you either gonna have to get the stock one and slap it back on or spend a little extra to get one that has a carb sticker!!

if all else fails pay the bail= basically your just plain lazy to fix your mistakes !! if you go this route lol i got one not to long ago for "inadequate exhaust" and "craked windshield" fix the windshield and slapped the silencer back on i sprayed it flat black went to get inspected, passed, payed $10 end of story

O BTW THAT WHITE STICKER means your not suppose to drive the vehicle on the road unless your going to the ref i think they'll take your car from you if you get caught lol thats what the cop said to my friend

Throw your stock exhaust back on.

Intake, since it has the carb sticker on it, leave it on.

The Ref station will type up the number, match it to the car, and sign it off.

Once your car passes their smog test, you're good to go.

Take care of this as soon as possible.

The ref was closed down while I got a ref ticket. So, I only had 3 days to take care of my ticket when it was opened up again.

My car failed smog due to a bad cat, so I had to go to court and let them know what happened.

I have my court date for the 15th or so this month.

Going to smog my car(for registration) and take that paper to the judge.

Hopefully, he lets me off easily. My fine is $400 if he decides to bring the hammer down.

Yeah, just put the car back to stock and pay the $15 fee or whatever.

But you are correct, getting caught while your car has a state ref sticker over it's head is illegal.

It's a driving offense. So you'll get a point on your license.

As well as the cop can tow your car for driving it around.

In reality you're supposed to tow your car to the ref... But nobody does that.

Just hope if you are pulled over on your way to the ref that they believe you.
