To the OP, did you cut each wire separately, and tape them all up? You do know there's power leads to the amps, shorting them would blow fuses too, not enough to not start but enough to make a lot of other things not work.
ya dont do that. just bridge the solenoid

i wonder if you may have grounded one of your power wires and fried your ecu. i have seen it done with maf wires....just a thought
