I used to be an animation major at my old school...

that would own! We'd just rent really old 80's cartoons and watch forever.... i think a place called vidiots or something has a bunch of goodies like HE-MAN... "I have the power!"

what no love for GEM? Carebears? Popple? G.I. JOE!? Denver the last dinosaur? Dino-Riders!? and dont even make me talk about megaman, and super mario.....

I hope everyone now realizes that they seriously need to pay some respect to MR. T because for me, he symbolizes everything that was and will ever be the 1988 saturday morning...

EDIT: I'm sooo sorry I forgot one of my favorties of all time...
Ghostbusters!

EDIT2: Oh an WUZZLES! wuzzles rock!

youre all forgetting Centurians, Silverhawk, the ALF cartoon, Shirt Tails, the Raccoons, Heathcliff, Pound Puppies, Muppet Babies, a Pup named scooby doo, Snorks, She-Ra had her own cartoon too i think, and David the Gnome (i didnt watch it that much). theres probably more, but thats all i could come up with right now. i have most of this **** on tape too, cause my grandparents used to send it to (us) when (we) lived in Morocco.

oh and back to the topic at hand, yeah i used to stay up and watch Weird Science and Duckman all the time. i LOVED wierd science.

I remember David the Gnome...that show was great. Granted, I was |--| about that big, but still.

What was Silverhawks about? I have this very vague memory of a cartoon kind of like thundercats with the animal-people thing going on, but they morphed a little to, one was a dolphin or shark or something?
It's entirely possible this is some random dream from my childhood that I just recognize as real too. Any names for it? Silverhawks kinda rang a bell, when did they stop airing it (year)?

Do you guys remember the Ghostbusters?

Yeah the movie was not too good, but the cartoon was pretty cool during the time. I still remember some episodes. Videogame for the Sega Genesis was good too.

My bad, I didn't see that you had already mentioned it.

You're only a little bit younger than me, Steeles. Remember this one? Don't let me down....

Yep, Dungeons & Dragons. Fox had it back on Saturday mornings only a couple of years ago. I remember turning on the TV early one day and being very surprised to see that ancient cartoon on.

Of course, if some channel was still showing Starblazers or Robotech, I'd probably be setting up my VCR to record those on a daily basis... Maybe I'll pony up the cash for the Starblazers DVDs. That show was/is awesome. Classic old-school anime.

I've got a few more obscure shows in my head to challenge you with, but I'm having a tough time finding images.

I don't know about that. I think I may just be proving to everyone that I'm a dork. Of course, Transformers OWN, so maybe not.

I'll keep looking for something to challenge you with, though.
