i need to smog my 91, it has a cone filter, and i dont have the stock air box, I have access to my old 89's but thats a SOHC this is a DOHC would it fit?

or better yet is there a K&N cone filter I can use that will be CA Smog legal?

I'm using a ka24e airbox on my DE with the bottom cut out. The only thing is there is are some wires for a sensor on the back of the airbox, which my DE airbox didn't have. I dunno if the smog technician would fail me because it isn't connected to anything. It fits and everything, just try to cover up that connection thingy.
