Input wanted

I am about to start my blacktop SR swap this weekend (woo-hoo). I have money for one of the following. Which should I get...

1. FMIC
2. whitelines with KYB-AGX

Keep in mind I plan on eventually doing both but I will have to go without one of them for a couple of months. Please diregard the fact that the FMIC will cost more.

thanks for the input,

dave

FMIC!!!!! Unless you plan to run it at stock boost with the SMIC and wait till you get the FMIC to turn it up. Even then IIRC you need to make the airflow better to it to make it work. I would get the FMIC still though.

The stock struts are actually pretty new. I guess if I want to be fast I should get the FMIC.

If the engine set up is going to be stock and the ECU is not tuned...you will actually not gain all that much from a larger intercooler.

Majority of mechanics in Japan I have talked to have convinced me to delay putting in my HKS (older style for an S14 K's) intercooler in until after I have the computer retuned.

So....depends really on what you intend to do and when.

Having the larger intercooler won't hurt....I have been told that there will be a minimal (nearly non-detectable) low end power loss due to the extra air flow.
