Exhaust install help!

So im tryna install my Apexi 3" piping, 3.25" tip exhaust and I cant seem to get the hooks on the muffler to slip into the rubber holders because the tow hook is in the way. stupid question, but is the tow hook not suppose to be there? If someone could help me out, my car sounds like a V8 without and exhaust...and its kinda awesome except for the fact I have no exhaust.

Mine fit just fine. The tow hook is there, that shit just has to stretch a shitload, if not you can buy bigger, longer, or oddly shaped rubber holders that will work better around that.

From what i know, the tow hook does bolt off. But it is a pretty tight spot to get into. I ended up just cutting mine.

unless you don't think you are going to dyno your car, then but it off.

Its a tie down that dyno tuners use to strap your car down on the down. I'd keep it...
