im not sure i understand, what do you mean paint the stripping? i didnt use the weatherstripping.

Same stuff is used on Zenki sideskirts, it's basically a weatherstrip seal to keep the skirt from rubbing the body. On darker colored cars it looks alright but on lighter colors it stands out way too much, looks like someone took a picture and then traced the line with a black marker. I don't use it for most of my installs.
