Some BOV's use rubber seals, but they leak as the rubber breaks down.
My SARD R2D2 uses metal/metal seals, and uses the mist of oil that's always blown through your charge piping to lubricate itself - and it gets stuck if you don't drive the car for a month or so. If you're sure you've got the BOV installed properly and set to the loosest possible setting, and it still doesn't blow off (you hear compressor surge), you're going to have to take it apart, lube it up, and put it back together. As stated, WD40 (or a better penetrating lubricant) is a great first step.

thanks..........been running this bov every day for 4 years..i think it was just oil build up so i took it apart and used a little bit of break clean, moves freely now. ill drive the car in the morning and see if it worked..peace
