What do you mean it falls to the floor? When I got my clutch replaced the pedal feel was soft and the engine would rattle a lot in first gear but after 300 miles everything was fine. I'm not sure if you mean the pedal is softer or if it doesn't come back up at all after pressing it. You also should be flooring it in 4th gear with a new clutch.
