dash replacement: do you bother changing the vin?

damn i cant believe so many of you guys actually appreciate that tiny tid-bit... i started to wonder if people actually read my anger-ridden posts.. but i guess my words are not in vein. awesome.

i've had my vin plate, sticker, and dash plate on order for near 6 months.. not sure what the holdup is.. but not like i give a fuck, my car is still undergoing restoration and wont be done till 2091.

but yes, they are available and i had mine ordered long ago. i do agree with everyone else on the forum here though, vin-related shit is NOT to be played with. if you swap a dash, be prepared to swap your vin plate and everything else associated with that. when i repainted my shell, i masked off the vin and then clearcoated over the entire thing. i've said it a million times, if you're going to modify things do it the right way - otherwise leave it stock. theres a reason why we "street racing hoodlums" are treated like assholes, because more often than not there are guys doing stupid shit in the community. it gets hard for non-car folk to separate piss from the shit.
