hmm I saw your user name and then I understood your anger...
anyways...: did some playing around this last week, wanted to lower it more but i was lazy, so just drove it over a small block so it would tuck, i like the look. ended up leaving it like this though shot from rear outside my workplace on rodeo drive:

how does your front tire not rub the hell out of your fender when you turn? do you track your car at all? my tires are nowhere near that close to my front fender and even i have rubbing issues when driving. is there some special tactic that i overlooked when tucking front wheels?
that shit looks hot though, that is essentially the look i want if it is feasible without destroying my fender |

i just looked through this entire thread and noticed a lot of people running 215/40 rears on 17x9s, i want to run that on my fronts and was wondering what tire size you guys would recommend for the rears.
im running 240sx hatch 17x9 + 0 fronts with origin 20mm overs 17x9 -15 rears stock fenders (waiting for origin 30mm overs) i want to run a decent stretch

^ 215/45/17 in the rear if you want 215/40/17 front.
That way you won't have wheel gap. So... can anyone else with a 9.5 -3 front fitment post up how you guys are not rubbing the rubber grommet on the driver's side fender well at full lock? I know there has been some solutions posted (was quite involved), but I'd like to see some other tactics used by someone else to solve that problem? |

That is what I always think as well.
And tucking is hot right now. I want to tuck, but my mother tucking fenders are pulled, not sure what the tuck I will end up doing with them. Tuck tuck tuckin' on heaven's door. |

New rims are on order. I mesured up my car and came up with : SSR SP1 in touring gold 17x10 +6 (HD) 18x11.5 -8 (SL) 255 and 275. I shoulnd be running any camber with this set-up and it's "supposed" to be hella flush with the outer lip. Kit is going to be type-x. I had the xd9's on stock body. And btw, Koguchi runs 265's out back. |

18x11.5 -21 will fit, but probably not with a 295. I mesured up and at -26 offset, it sticks out like 1.5". You'll have to run some stretch and camber to make a 295 fit under there. On the 18x11.5 -8 i took, i still have the ~6" lip and it clears 300zx calipers, so i'm happy |

you guys are missing the point of the fenders or at least what i think koguchi is achieving with his setup.
the way i see it (someone correct me if im wrong) he is using light wheels with spacers (fat or stacked) decent size tires and he is killing it, i bet he did it this way to be able to run less power but still be competitive. all you guys who are going to be running the huge wheels and tires, are going to need so much more power to even get near anything he is able to do with a 265(i dunno exact size) but maybe your car is going to be for something else. i dunno i dont even have a 240 i dont even have a nissan wtf what is this place. this is not rx7 club.
