Salvage Title 240

So I'm looking to get my first 240sx and a guy wants to trade his 95 240sx for my car but it has a salvage title and 190k miles.

I know that a salvage title will sell for less, but is there anything else I should know?

Is there anything I should look out for when inspecting a salvage title car?

Thanks guys.

95 Camry.

I also got offered a clean title 2000 Civic and I might take that and sell it.

I just really want a 240.

Why is it salvaged?

Find that out first. These cars aren't worth shit so a light wreck can total it. But how light the wreck is your concern.

If I were you I would take the 2000 civic and re-sell it.
Why would someone want a 95 camry for their 2000 civic tho lol?
What the hell did you do to the car xD

Twin turbos baby..jk

Dude says his daughter is having trouble with the 5-speed.
Maybe once he looked at kbb value he might change his mind.

The s14 has had the radiator support replaced and supposedly was boken into (key hole is messed up).

I really want a 240sx so if the car looks ok, would you guys recommend I trade?

If you can get the civic do it,
you'll be able to sell it in less than a week or two and make a quick buck.
Then you'll have more money to put down on your 240sx.

I think he wants cash on top so it's probably out of the question.

So is getting a salvage title car a bad idea?

I think even a salvage s14 is worth more than my camry but I'm not sure.

Depends how bad the damage is if the frame it all out of wack I would pass, but like someone else said even a minor fender bender is enough to total a 10+ year old car thats probably only worth 1-3k to the insurance company
