What is this? I crashed the car and am trying to fix it myself. So far it has been slow going but at leased she's running so I can limp her to a shop and start welding in a new rad support.

Now this is a real noob question. What the **** is this? I had It sits in front of my rad and I'm pretty sure I need to replace it. It seems to be hooked up to something but I don't know what. I've searched my brains out and can't figure out what the crap it is...

No, the Rad is the koyo behind this thing. This thing is the size of a rad, but doesn't seem to have the rad fluid in and out that I would expect from a rad. I therefore figured it wasn't the stock rad. If it is, the moron I got the car from just put the koyo rad behind the stock one and closed the hood... :S

that would be your A/C condenser....if you dont have A/C you dont need it

So if I dont replace it I just dont have ac? My s14 is a track car only so I could really CARE LESS about ac...

then dont replace it. mine never even came with one when i bought it. ac is over rated. make sure to remove all the rest of your ac components as well though.

just follow all of the lines hooked to the condenser and rip em out. don't worry about the ones going into the car just disconnect at firewall and call it good.
