Im currently debating whether or not i should get the silencer for this exhaust. Would the silencer improve lowend comparable to stock exhaust backpressure? How much quieter would it be? Also where is a good place to purchase the silencers and how much should i expect to pay. Any help will be great, thanks.

I paid $40 each through optauto.com
They did reduce the noise noticably but and I did seem to notice a slight change in low end power but that may have just been in my head. I think it was worth the money just because of the noise reduction. The only drawback I saw was the bolt that holds them in place is somewhat of an eyesore.

and they fall out and you lose your silencers if they aren't tightened all the way

If you're running a KA24 with header, get the silencers, helps alot. Any other setup with silence them down quite a bit. Especially on the freeways. Low end power is slightly gained, but I noticed that my high end drags more now, due to the increased back pressure. So I just run with them in when my wife and I go on long drives so she doesn't complain. Otherwise they're out cause I kinda like the loud rumble, trust me it's not a Civic fart can. I say buy them if you got the extra money and use them when ever you need to.
