Harder engine mounts

I think the engine mounts on my car are compromised because it makes a huge rattling sound coming from that direction. 2 of my friends told me similar things. What are the signs of broken engine mounts?

Would the following be a good fix? What are the benefits of getting stronger engine mounts as far as performance goes?

Kazama Auto S13 S14 S15 SPL Engine Mounts

Thx

if the mounts are pounded out you will hear a clunk from that area aswell. as for performance mounts go energy suspension makes good polyurethane mounts. but with those your car will shake at idle. but depending on the kinda mods you have done oem mounts might do fine to.

Are there any specific torque specifications for tightening the OEM or Kazaama mounts?
