The price all depends on the car, your question is really un-answerable. $4000 for your run of the mill stockish s-13 is stupidly overpriced. On the other hand though $4000 for a cherry, original, old ass lady owned, garaged, 5-speed car with SUPER low miles and sparkling perfect paint may be worth it. I have seen one car like that. It was even an '89, but after looking at it for a bit I said to myself "hell, I would pay $5000 for a car that cherry if I could afford it". Like I said it all depends on the specific car you are buying.
