Inner/outer tie rod end for S14
Hi guys,
I am still learning about s14 so seeking help from you guys. I am changing steering rack and it will come with stock inner tie rod so i am wondering what brand will be the option if i wanna install after market tie rod end (outer)? Some people told me TEIN outer will fit with stock inner s14. What about Megan?? or any other brand. please pass you wise suggestion. I do have Tein coilovers on my car and also ordered ISIS tension rod for that. Thank you guys in advance. |

yes you can use Tien outers on the stock s14 inners. the Megan ones are ok. they will allow for more angle then the Tiens, the Tiens are just a much strong version of the stock ones, but are still limited to the stock steering angle. Tien has there on version of upgraded inners to fix this by adding spacer in between the rack and the inner tie rods giving you more steering angle.

Do not trust your steering ends to megan I have heard far too many disastrous stories of them snapping. Personally I am using the Tien inners and outers with the steering angle spacers, I think I paid around $150 for the set. The Teins are about 3X thicker than the stockers and are very well made, I am very happy with them. Don't mess around with something that controls the steering on your car If you can't steer you can't avoid the wall.

personaly i am using peak performance inner and outer tie rods and they are awsome the have built in spacers and come with an optional spacer for crazy angle...the best part about them would probly be the aroura bearings they use...steering is smooth and you get to flip a bitch any where with a problem.... checkem out

Good choice...like everyone else said, dont trust megan with ur steering..atleast i wouldnt. I jus put my Tein inners and outers about 3 months ago and trust me, you defintely wont regret buyin them. Way thicker, stronger, and come with spacers for the inner tie rods. They dont look like they'll do much but i swear they do. Good luck.
