go to a welder that does gates and other crap. They do not have a " legal responsibility" on welding your test pipe. Don't go to a muffler shop.

+1 thats what i did on my old car. i bought a high flow cat without flanges from autozone and had my neighbor weld a 2.5" flange on the inlet and 3" on the outlet. now i just rock a hollowed out oem cat.
