The power steering hose from the steering rack to the power steering pump blew!

Now that you're tuned in, yes mine actually did blow so I did a little shopping.

Enjuku sells ISIS stainless braided ones for $99. Individual shipping is $11.72 no carrier specified. $111.71

MA-Motorsports sells a blue colored one with Earl's fittings for $140. Shipping is $15.66 via UPS ground. $156.66

Then I found Fuji SPL. They sell them for $75 shipped. They also rate them at 5000psi. The other two do not provide information on their websites.

Any comments on any of the brands? I'm about to pull the trigger on a Fuji SPL one and will give a review after it's installed. Hope you all find this useful information for these tough times.

I like dealing with him because he's familiar with 240 stuff that they sell.

Their new batches look very similar to MA-Motorsports and even have Earl's fittings. Shit, if shipping will take longer than Monday then I'll just go to Baker.

Agreed, Hung @ Baker has these pre-made most of the time. I go to him for everything I don't make myself.

He sold me mine for $80, including fittings for the power steering pump and the rack.

Norm, I'd say go with a stainless line or braided hose.
That FujiSPL looks like a non-braided hose.

Get a black kevlar braided XRP hose...FTW!

I picked up the ISIS one, when enjuku had free shipping. I am currently having it installed along with some other items. As far as what type of driving I do, I just drive my s13 on the streets, no track time. I wanted one for a while, as I hated the look of the OEM one, because my stock one was leaking. You should also check out frsports.com, IIRC they sell one as well.

i just went to a local hydraulic hose shope and had them make me one .. its good to 6000 psi and is hella beefy after i installed it my steering felt like butter there was no fighting it at all even with 18x10s in the front i love it

Man, I've been running no power steering line almost a year now. Just because I'm lazy and wont' get around to ordering a new line haha

You can buy an aftermarket OE type replacement hose at most OTC auto parts stores for less than $60. Hydraulic hose shops can build you one for $30 or so.

I never have understood the need to spend 2-3x that just to have a 'pretty' hose. Hose is supposed to be black, period.

yeah i dont really trust AN fittings and braided line, just because they arent meant for that kind of pressure. yeah, i know...AN fittings can hold a lot of pressure, but ive seen tons of the home made pretty ones blow right off the fittings because they weren't designed to hold that much pressure.

Mine blew, i just went to a parts store and got whatever $75 they had in stock. I've been meaning to replace it with OEM Nissan, but just haven't gotten to it yet.

As far as the one you listed off fujii, that actually looks pretty decent.

What AN fittings are you using?
Are you using Earls?
Earls fittings back in the day used to be legit, but within the past few years they've been outsourcing to China...and u know how that goes.

Did you pressure test the lines before you put them on?
