Miramar. Was just there yesterday. They seem to mostly run Hornets as opposed to Super Hornets. Why is that?

The Navy brought the Super Hornet the Corps will move straight into the JSF. Well thats the plan.

not too sure on the exact reason, but i believe it may be due to it being a training squadron and being that the super hornets are a bit newer and they have plenty of regular hornets but then again i'm not familiar with the platform yet so thats just speculation
