I have a question for the people on the east coast. I'm hear from Japan for about two years and would like to know where some race tracks are in the southest. I'm in North Carolina and I've been to the racetrack right outside Jacksonville and its not expensive but its only 1/4mile or oval. I bought a 240sx when I first got here and the only thing I'm planning to change out is the suspension. I didn't have a problem back in Japan with running around in the streets because I never got messed with by the cops, but I don't see myself doing any of that in the streets over here, I don't have the time and money to be acting stupid overhere. I kinda want to drift here but I've noticed since I've been here that the pavement is different than the one in Japan, and I'm not trying to waste money on tires. Also are there any used imports parts store where I can pick up parts for cheap? Any imputs will be greatly appreciated

Virginia Int'l Raceway, Carolina Motorsports Park, and Road Atlanta probably aren't far from you.

Tracks: Lance is right. In fact, I and another Zilvia member (uuninja) will be down at VIR (3.3 mi. road circuit) this weekend at a high perf. driving event (full track, full speed, limited passing, mandatory instruction). These events usually go for $200-300 for a two day event w/ about eight 20 minute sessions. All you need to participate is a car that will pass tech and a helmet. I generally try to keep everyone on here posted about upcoming track events in the Mid-Atlantic area. (we also have a yahoo group where it is easier to spot these updates)

Parts: we have junkyards... but most decent used parts trade hands privately. Check out the for sale lists here, at Fresh Alloy, and 240sx.org.

peace -mark
