F/S Cleanest 1991 Wolfsburg **REAR MOUNT TURBO**
1991 Wolfsburg Jetta with a Rear Mount Turbo Located in the Back/Trunk. Car has a custom paint job does not appear to have any rust on the body. runs and drives straight used as a daily driver. cars interior and exterior are pretty well maintained with just a few tiny things here and there only thing that looks kinda bad is the intercooler piping that should be redone. has a great working sunroof that doesnt leak!
car has many upgrades Has alot of potencial to being a big sleeper for some one dedicated with time RUNS AND DRIVES ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rear mount turbo custom piping ran to the back BOV Upgraded injectors Battery cut off switch Boost gauge Motor was redone 60k miles ago. Push Button start Will come with Coilovers (not installed brand new) Now the bad....... Car burns oil due to blown T3 turbo. can purchase a cheap one on ebay for 150 and easy to install because its in the trunk. Clutch slips under high boost (will include a new clutch at no extra cost) VERY VERY drivable still though drove it over 120 miles just yesterday with no issues. You can still boost just slips higher RPMS at Wide open throttle. windshield is Cracked. Windshield wipers missing (not really an issue) but intercooler piping job is kinda sloppy would recommend getting new piping thats not mandrel bent. radio's button to lower volume gets sticky at time.(just thought i would add gets annoying to me some times) Title is clean. email if you have any questions [email protected] would make a great project or daily driver with just a little money runs and drives just blows smoke from the turbo. 5013438645 text or call Last edited by fusionsrt4; 10-27-2009 at 05:14 PM.. |

rear mount ftl?
You need to do some more research on rear mount turbos then... From what I know, rear mount turbos do not require an intercooler because cool air directly feeds to the turbo. People think there will be turbo lag due to extended piping, but in correctly done setups, lag is no more than a front mount kit. Plus, when you get popped from the cops, you open your hood and show them your nonturboed vehicle lol. Another thing is, the turbo on this wolfsburg must be LOUD. all the rear mount turbos from my buddy's mustangs and camaros are freakishly loud. Unique car. I love unique cars ![]() |

I helped build this car. It definitely has crazy power for an 8Valve but the clutch is going out and it needs the new one (which we included when we sold it) to be put it to get the full experience out of the car. Runs great and we only got rid of it because my friend needed some money for his photography business.
