Running a stock s13 setup with a 2jz. Been reading on doing the TT differential swap, and from what I've gathered, it's almost too much of a PITA to do. I'd like to get the gearing around the same as the TT though. Car is going to be setup for drag and with my current setup, my first and second gear are stupid short. Only thing I'm figuring is the J30 may be the best route to go?

im pretty sure j30 diffs and Q45 diffs have a higher gear ratio. and both are relatively easy to swap in. i'm running a J30 VLSD right now.

I believe they are 3.9x?

J30 is the same as the Schassis, 4.08:1, unless you find a 'T' model, it's said to be 3.92:1, not much of a change.

The Q45s are lower, there's several threads about them on here.
