Really all this talk about cold pressures is absolutely meaningless. It's all about hot pressures. I'm going to have to start recording hot tire pressure and temperature readings from now on to get where I want to go.

Thank you everyone who came out to support and drive this event.

Maybe we're going to look into having a buttonwillow event next year!

Special thanks to Vanessa for coming out, kicking ass and representing girl drivers.

A buttonwillow event would be SO much fun! I will go to every one of these events with you guys, please have more!

I tried to upload my vid on youtube but I think I have it encoded in a wrong format or something since it's getting errors halfway through I noticed how bad I need to improve on my lines lol Hopefully I can show you all real soon.

NOT IN THE FACE!!!!!! LoL

Seriously all of your responses are indicative of the kind of interest we need to keep up.
These events are absolutely dependant upon entries so be sure to keep your eyes on the
forums and spread the word when you see our events posted. We'll be working on future
events in the upcoming weeks/months so don't forget to check in. We love this as much
as you! And it was great to finally meet some of you face to face. I hope to see you all
again soon and meet more of you.

Clutch is made of Kevlar. Don't really care about it over heating or glazing. I was intentionally shifting quickly just to get the quickest lap time I could. I'll be getting a carbon clutch kit soon.

I value your input; thank you.
I'm talking about corner entry and decelleraion. Under brakeing you don't heel toe downshift, and you acually lock up the rear wheels slipping the clutch. You need to rev match when down shifting. this unsettled the car and puts wear on the clutch and drive train. Just an observation

Oh! Right right, I clearly see what you're saying. Yes, I do need to work on that. I was actually trying to heel toe, but I'll admit I'm no pro at it. This is why we need more grip events, so I may practice.

I heel toe everywhere I go in any m/t car that I can. I made it a normal part of my everyday driving routine. That's the only way to really get good at it is to do it all the time. I know how awkward it is at first, but it becomes second nature eventually and you don't even have to think about it. Learning to heel toe is the first thing you MUST learn in order to drive a car actually fast.

Or just get a 370Z and have auto rev-match FTW..lol

btw, i was talkin about all hot temps.

I ran the data by Hankook w/ the pressures and tems and I wasn't even close to where they should have been. Thats why my best lap was on the 9th lap., finally started to get some heat in them.

oh well, still had a blast =)

Trust me I know that its all about hot pres & temps. But you need to know where you started at,so that you can monitor/see/record the pres build up, & be in the ballpark to begin with so that you are not excessivly bleeding down or come in way under the hot target if that matters to you, if not disregard.Whats the value to you I dont know but meaningless I dont think so. Just my opinion Ya need to know where ya started at to acheive what you want and keep absolute accurate data just my way of thinking.

PAUL2X- Hey are you using nitrogen or reg air PM me

I did notice that it was harder to warm up my tires all day on sunday. Could it be because I nitro-filled my tires? Would that explain why i kept sliding around everywhere?

that would be a great idea but wouldn't z32 N/A be similar in class as KA s13/s14? I mean the due to the weight of an N/A z32, it would be somewhat equivalent to lighter KA24de s13/s14? Then again, with the displacement of the n/a z32 you would easily pass us at the straights...

just a thought... I just want you to be a part of our KA click... that's all...

Hmmmm, sounds like a good idea that would have the potential for a LOT of fun.

BUT, I think that certain Zs should be allowed to run against the S13-S14 KAs, say the Z31-Z32 VQs AND only in N/A form, non turbo....have a separate turbo class for the turbo'd Zs and S-chassis to do battle in.

This kinda reminds me of the old BTCC/Touring car days where you had European handling vs. American grunt and muscle. In this case, it'd be Lightweight 4-cylinder screamers vs. Heavy but torque-monster V6s..... WHO WOULD WIN THE BATTLE???

That'd be fun. I was talking to Charles from Powertrix, who does a lot of road racing with his Zs and thought it'd be cool to incorporate the Z chassis somehow. Maybe Na Z32s in KA class and twin turbo Z32s and all Z33s and up in SR class. I think it'd bring about a nice rivalry between the lightweight low powered S chassis and the GT style of the Z chassis. I'm pretty sure I can round up a good amount of Zs.

Everyone stay tuned. We're discussing "classes" and run groups for our next events. Oops! Did I say event(s)?!
