this is when i am driving then come to a stop.
with the ac off the idle is fine when i stop goes to about 850 rpm.
but with the ac is on when i come to a stop it goes to 1800rpm for a few seconds then drops to the normal idle. is there something i can do so the idle doesn't get stuck for so long?

1800 is a little high but if it's only for a few seconds that may be normal.

The A/C compressor puts more load on the engine, so idle RPM has to be raised to compensate for the extra load.

I wouldn't be too worried about it.
