got this thru an old RC forum i used to participate in...

This notice is a courtesy to the casting companies to help bring together some rc enthusiasts who are interested in being involved in a new tv show - RC Universe

CASTING TEENS WHO BUILD RC VEHICLES FOR NEW TV SHOW!!!
Evolution and Bizzy Blondes Entertainment are currently casting a new television project for MTV and we’re looking for junior high and high school students who actively build and/or race and/or participate in competitions with RC (radio-controlled) vehicles (includes, cars, boats, helis & airplanes).
We are looking for kids who are very involved in this world. Ideally, we’d like to find a group of friends who build, race, and compete together.

* Must live in Southern California.
* Must have a great personality.

If the above sounds like you or someone you know, PLEASE EMAIL US ASAP with your NAME, CONTACT INFO and a COUPLE SENTENCES ABOUT YOUR RC VEHICLE EXPERIENCE!

not really, most companies set up different email accounts in order to help filter through the hundreds of emails they probably already get on a daily basis, and also to keep employee business emails confidential so that they arent constantly bothered by ppl begging to be casted

Would have been more professional if they just created different email accounts through their server and then just disable the email addresses as soon as they find all their candidates. At least it's not @yahoo.com and more professional/believable with their company name in the email address instead of some generic one that anyone can create.

Create a distribution group and just add several people into it to receive these emails to help sort through candidates is another option. Not hard at all and should only take a few minutes.

I may sound a little anal, but I would never send any info to some random yahoo, hotmail, aol, etc account.

i grew up racing rc cars.. but havent in a few years, all my shit is over 10 years old.. its too expensive a hobby for me to get back into right now.

You guys should look into OCRC. Still competitive but doesn't suck the fun out of it. Bringing back the old feel of rc racing before it got super serious. A couple of friends and I are actually looking to get into it.
