It would be cool to see real world numbers with car. Like braking power from 80mph-0 and from 60mph-0 and 0-60, 0-100 times. And maybe some skidpad numbers. Curious to see the capabilty of the chassis. And i wonder how much the car will weigh when all said and done and the power to weight ratio.

I mean the car and build look great but i wonder how it will perform and handle.

it's almost good this happened to you. thanks for writing such a good description of what you've done. i know some time or another i'm going to do an engine rebuild and will definitly have this in mind.

1 quick question..the ring terminals you used to bolt the 1/0 gauge wire to your starter.

did you use just standard car audio terminal/connector??? or did you get it specifically for that purpose? also, what method did you use to crimp it to the wire?

Haha, I'm glad you're learning from my mistakes... the vacuum trick worked fucking great. A hand held vac pump would have been even better...


I don't have a good answer for you, unfortunately. I pilfered all the parts from a SYSTEM I bought used for my sti. The ring terminals were all attached. They look as if they were crimped by a stereo shop.

No dice on startup. Something is haywire with my EMS.

The way the ECU turns on things like the fuel pump is by grounding the negative side of a relay coil. Well, for some reason, the drivers are closed when off and open when on...

There is also a problem with the coils not firing, although the Cam Angle Sensor syncs perfectly.

I am probably going to have to send it back to AEM.
