dude im not wanting to put vlsd halfshafts into an open diff

maybe i fail at explaining but whatever i got this shit back together now

i was talking about taking the OPEN DIFF AND HALFSHAFTS and PINION and putting it all into the j30 pumpkin.

it worked

The open diff pinion will not work in a J30 case...the snout on the J30 case is longer, to accomodate the ABS ring/sensor.

The open diff pinion is shorter, there is NO WAY it works in a J30 case.

Did you just swap the ring gear (the big one) and the open "center" into a J30 case? (and use the open diff output shafts)??

If so, that will eat itself alive within a few miles...the ring and pinion are a set, and wear together.
