How do i fix my bumpy/jumpy idle in an 89 240 - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

I have an 89 240sx, and when the cr idles it ses to shake like im in an old mucle car or something, when i turn the ac on the car shakes alot lessbut i stil fel the shakig feling, also the car sems to not be able to keep a steady idle i bounces from about 500-700, but when the ac is on the idle stays steady at 900 rpm, but thecar still shakes, any suggstions do i need a tune up? thanks

if you just bought the car and have no recent tune up records.. it would be a good idea to do a mild tune up...there was a post i just replied to with the same problem...

this thingy helps...
