Are s13s worth having with any engine?

Ok since i picked up an rb20det s13 its falling apart in the inside and the rear tires are gone. I was told the rpm gauge was not calibrated to the new engine and he has no clue what the mileage is and guessed is between 15k and 17k. Well the odometer reads about 168k.Now this guy raced his hatch before so i know the engine has been beaten abit.How strong are the rbs if you tend to drift alot with them and street race then give it to someone else?This is my first rb20det powered s13 and i would like to know if this was a good find or not. BTW i am too lazy to look up stuff anymore. I did some research but it didnt give me an actual real personal experience of pple who own these cars. Help me out here,I would like to know if i just spent my money on a pos or this was a good buy?Thanks for the help guys.

Anyway change the oil right away and check it for metal and whatnot, do a compression test, and get ready to rebuild and rewire that mess.

Whatever you do don't sell it, I'd rather you were in over your head trying to fix the thing first so you can learn your lesson.

Sounds like every S13 that isn't really well taken care of.

But seriously? Search around a bit. It's not hard. We're not here to spoon feed you information.

Just do some basic maintenance, take care of the issues, and drive the thing; you can't expect an S13 to act like a brand new car.

So im retarded for getting my first rb20det? Second, i did research all the internet tells me is a comparison of s13s vs. s14s. Why dont you all grow some balls and just give info out to pple who have never owned an s13. I mean its like you guys are saying"Wow, you get what you get.You need to research before you post"The majority of the internet gives info on the car based on it being untouched. Im talking about ones that were swapped out etc. There is nothing online that says any of that except for importatlanta and i hate importatlanta.
