the distributor is one of the main issues with these situations. ive read up because i had the same problem. believe it or not, came down to being off on the teeth of the dizzy. check that out. with your motor at tdc, your rotor should be at around 6-7 o clock. it should line up with spark plug wire number 1 at the dizzy.
