Don't need extensions on an S13 swap
re-route the lines and some rubber holding grommets
is all I needed on mine years ago
in that first picture, looks like parts from the shoe assembly
and this info is so old, I think Moses (aka Russ) wrote it down on a stone tablet before the internet

I'm the one who found this info back in the day and that's my picture.
It's because the hub. There's a spacer on top of z32 hub for the anchor bolt on the left side. If you use the one on the left side(thinner one), there's some play and people believe that it's not safe.

As far as cables go, get the adaptors. I used them and work pretty good.

where can i find the anchor that's on the right? if i use the one on the left is there a high possibility of failure? i figured out the ebrake problem already thanks though.

i have the similar problem. i needed the fatter anchor bolt since my z32 rear hubs don't have the extra tab on top. i don't know why you'd need cable extensions unless you ran the stock s13 cables.

89-90 z32 n/a hey look like s14 hubs hey dont have the top tap that is use to hold on to the anchor bolt on the z32 e-brake assembly... you can use spacer on the anchor bolt..to run with the smaller z32 anchor bolt or fine a 89-90 z32 anchor bolt.or some washers. ..

z32 91-96 n/a hubs with tap..

z32 89-90 n/a hubs look same as s14.. with out tap

2 washers the same size as the washers on the axles work fine as anchor bolt spacers.

if you are going to do the rear z32 calipers (I assume so since u purchased the correct e-brake cable) you will need the rear backing plate with ebrake assembly from a z32/gtst along with the caliper and rotors.

You may want to visit importnut and see what all is needed in the conversion.

So it's okay to use washer/spacers? Would I still need to fasten a small bolt on the anchor to the backing plate?

Did you also bolt the anchor to the backing plate? Noticed the thinner anchor doesn't have threading
