apparently channel 5 did a story on Insurance fraud today, coincidently, the video of this GTR was one of the main things shown...

GLENDORA -- It's a dangerous night-game that can turn deadly in an instant for young people in Southern California: street racing.

And one stretch of Glendora Mountain Road above Glendora is prime real estate for street racers in the San Gabriel Valley. But it may have also turned into 'Exhibit A' for insurance fraud investigators.

A video posted on YouTube shows an illegal street race videotaped by one of the participants. And on a winding curve, you can see the trailing car lose control then smash into a retaining wall.

Photos posted with the race footage show significant damage done to the Nissan GTR, a very expensive, high-performance custom race car.
