Hey, Ya...the same thing happened to me a couple days ago. I tried turning on the stereo but it would just turn on and then turn off after like 5 seconds. Then i tried the lights and like you, they would slowly go up and slowly go down. Then i tried the windshield wipers and it went half way and totally died on me right there. So the next day i took off the battery and went to sears to get it checked and yawp, they said it was dead. So got a new one and everything is super now. Hope that helped.
